Send PlansPump isolating Valve 11/2 inch x 28mm copper.
Fitted will 1/4 turn ball valve used to isolate pump from heating system when removing or servicing pump.
Supplied complete with pump washer.
A pump valve is used to safely isolate your underfloor heating or central heating circulation pump. By installing a valve on both the inlet and outlet sides of the pump, you can easily shut off the water supply. This allows you to remove, repair, or replace the pump without the hassle of draining your entire heating system.
Ball valves are widely preferred by heating engineers because they are much less likely to seize up over time compared to traditional gate valves. They feature a simple quarter-turn mechanism that allows you to shut off the water flow instantly, providing a highly reliable and watertight seal.
This specific valve is designed to connect standard circulation pumps (like Grundfos models) directly to 28mm pipework. If your underfloor heating or central heating system runs on standard 22mm pipework, you will need to use a pipe reducer or purchase a 22mm pump valve instead.
