Wall heating insulated plasterboard in-fill panel 2m x 1.2mm

Wall heating insulated plasterboard in-fill panel used to complete wall structure in areas where wall heating panels are not used 2m x 1.2m x 45mm. 

These panels are suitable for wall and ceiling heating and are and ideal alternative for renovations and refurbs where underfloor heating is unsuitable. 

The wall heating panel system comprises of a range of pre-fabricated radiant wall heating panels.  Each panel consists of 1 or 2 serpentine circuits of PE-Xc DN 8mm x 1mm pipe.  The pipe is standard compliant oxygen barrier and complies with DIN 4726.  The pipe is built into a type A 15 mm plasterboard slab and backed with a polystyrene (EPS 100) 30 mm thick insulated panel.

Wall Fixing

They can be installed directly to the wall or alternatively they can be fixed using the appropriate galvanized metal profiles available on the market for the installation of plaster board panels.

The galvanized metal profiles should be fixed at 600mm centres and the panels fastened with plasterboard screws.  The panels are overprinted with pipe layout to enable fixing positions to be chosen with out damaging the pipe.

Ceiling Fixing

They can be installed directly to the ceiling or as a false ceiling using the appropriate galvanized metal profiles available on the market for the installation of suspended plaster board ceilings.

Plumbing Connections

The plumber extends from the distribution manifold (please see section Chrome Manifolds for options) flow and return supply pipes using the underfloor heating1 pre-insulated 20mm x 2mm Pex-Al-Pex pipework.  A range of Nylon push fit fitting with 8mm connections are available to enable connection to the panels is available please see our other listings for options.  The distribution pipework and connections can be positioned above and beside the panels and in the case of false ceiling above the ceiling. Oerating Conditions:

• Maximum temperature: 600C 
• Minimum temperature: 20C 
• Maximum pressure at 600C: 2bar 
• Maximum pressure at 200C: 5bar 

Protection of radiant wall heating system:

It is recommended that a de-aeration device and 'Y' strainer is installed as part of the system and the system water is treated with suitable anti-algae and anti-lime scale additive.
